The fact that is was walking distance to the Inner Harbor.
At one point, there was no AC in the lobby, where we had to wait for other people in our party. It was a bit stifling.
the location was just a fifteen minutes walk from the seafront and the shopping malls.
the area didn't feel very safe at night, and security at the hotel could be better. the staff could also be more helpful regarding room change. breakfast was alright given the price of the hotel.
Not much, you get what you pay for. Bed was comfy tho.
Room was dark, very close to next building ( view was a fire escape) There was no restaraunt. Lobby smelled bad, room key didn't work.
Room location looked over an area which was a20x20 area which wasn't clean-- beer bottles etc
Housekeeping staff were top-notch. Design of the room was nice. Bed was firm like I like it. Actually one of the better continental breakfasts I've had at a smaller hotel. Only an 8 block walk to the pier area, with all the restaurants & aquarium only a few blocks more...
Although being downtown, this location is teaming with people begging for money right outside...some staff members were too interested in their phone conversations than attending to the clientele...one ice machine in the entire bldg.3 Floors away, and vending machines weren't working...no parking directly with hotel, which makes for very expensive outside parking in a garage across the street...not a very easy hotel to find with a gps, and very little outside markings to tell that this is the hotel you are looking for...
Location only stayed one day not two.
Old but clean
how close it was to Inner Harbor. the staff was friendly.especiially the staffing at the desk
Location...within walking to Camden Yards and Inner Harbor
Parking...seriously, there needs to be something other than a city lot. Parking should be a part of the stay, not extra.
The staff overall is pleasant, attentive and works hard to make the stay pleasant. One early morning gentleman made an extra effort to make one computer work. Cold water was always available in the lobby - a lifesaver with the heat.
I was in room 204 and stayed for 5 nights. One of the lights above the sink was out. I asked four diferent staff to have the bulb replaced before it was done on day 3. I called the night staff for a wake up call on Tuesday so my husband could catch hisearly morning flight. That call never came. On Wednesday I put the privacy hanger on the outside of my door. When I returned after m;y day of meetings, hotel staff had been in my room - bed was made, fresh towels, etc., which is nice, however, it was not what I wanted.
Nothing at all there was no where to park. We had to walk there in the middle of the night from a parking garage that was scary. Then I reserved a double room with 2 beds and we got 1 bed and we asked the women at the desk and she made up some story. It was the worst stay ever never again. And neither will my friends
The staff were very friendly. They couldn't do enough for you.
The mattress was to firm for me.I had a back ache all night and in the morning when I got up.
Proximity to inner harbor, breakfast was ok.
Website said parking on site- it wasn't and we got terrible directions from check-in person. Was charged extra for daily parking- when I asked about it was told hotel parking policy hadchanged.
The position suited our requirements as we were attending a conference at the conference centre and had no real time to do anything else. Also the temperature was not conducive to a good experience.
Would have to ensure to inform people that the facilities are very basic and not to expect too much. Needed to check the Bill as it was over charged in the first instance. The receptionist did correct without too much fuss whne shown the basic error.Central heating needs to be looked at as it was too noisy.
Convenient to the convention center and the hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
They did not have the room I reserved for the first two days and I ended up sleeping on the floor. They offered a room in another hotel but I needed to be within walking distance of the convention center. The staff were as helpful as possible under the circumstances.
